Tammara Stroud About Tammara Stroud

Tammara Stroud was inspired by her father, a master builder who owned his own construction company west of Portland, Oregon. She has been surrounded by innovative designs, architectural drawings and creative crafts people throughout her life.

Tammara studied art and design at Oregon State University and received a Fine Arts degree from the University of Washington. She worked closely with the CEO and founder of Nike during the earliest stages of the company's rise to fame developing prototypes. This experience was inspiration for Tammara to launch Baby Nouveau, a luxury children's apparel line. For 15 years she independently managed all aspects of her business, including design, material sourcing, and manufacturing from her studio in Seattle, Washington.

In 2005 Tammara decided to combine the understanding of construction, with her talents for fashion & textiles, in support of her passion for interior design. Tammara draws inspiration from her past, her many skills and her travels to over 12 countries on 3 different continents. She happily resides in Seattle, Washington with her husband Mark and their two children Kristopher and Alexandra.

“As an artist, I strive to create environments that inspire the eye and the soul. I am most comfortable working on projects in the early construction phase, working with the structure's "bones" to insure great design in the end product. I look at each project from the perspective of an artist with a blank canvas; all the elements of design must work in harmony with one another from flooring to paint colors. It is my pleasure to create homes for my clients that inspire and encourage balanced living.”
